Welcome Guide – Your Stay with Us

We want to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. Here you’ll find all the key information about the apartment, garden, parking, and facilities.

Arrival & Luggage

  • Check-in from 5:00 p.m.
  • Early luggage drop-off usually possible from 12:00 noon with your code (please confirm with us).
  • Cleaning team needs time undisturbed before check-in.

Access & Keys

  • Front door code lock:
    1. Knock on the white keypad until it lights up.
    2. Enter your code (see email).
    3. Press the “open door” symbol.
  • Keys (on the living room table):
    • (1) Apartment door key (emergency backup if electronics fail).
    • (2) Parking space No. 8 in the courtyard.
      ⚠️ Keys are master keys – please do not lose them.

Parking

  • Use the gate key (on table). Drive 150 m to House No. 22.
  • Gate size: 2.30 m high × 3.00 m wide.
  • Your parking spot: No. 8, back right. Always lock the gate.
  • Second car: street parking available (~€12/day via EasyPark app) or near Sternschanze station.

Garden & Neighbors

  • Enjoy your 150 sqm private garden with direct park access.
  • Quiet hours: from 10:00 p.m. inside and outside. No loud parties or shouting.
  • Smoking: only outside (on the garden swing). No smoking inside – €200 ozone cleaning fee.
  • BBQ: gas grill allowed at your own risk – please consider the neighbors and smoke.

House Rules

  • Please wear slippers or socks (wood & stone floors are delicate).
  • Slippers are available in the entrance closet.

Fireplace

  • Use only dry wood (hardware store or gas station).
  • Ensure good ventilation (open windows).
  • Carbon monoxide detector will alert if air is bad.
  • More wood in garden shed (beware of insects).

Sauna

  • Use at your own risk. Always place towels on benches.
  • Controls: top dial = timer (up to 4 hrs), bottom = temperature.
  • Towels & sauna fragrances provided.
  • After use: turn off oven, open doors for ventilation.

Wi-Fi

  • Network: elling-fewo-gast
  • Password: Fewo#2021
  • No illegal downloads or sharing access with others.

Home Cinema & TV

  • HD Projector:
    • Press “On” button twice to start.
    • Use black remote for Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, Waipu-TV (120 channels).
    • White remote (or wall switch) lowers the motorized screen.
  • Smart TV (in the niche): same options, purchases require a code.

Alexa (currently out of service)

  • Voice command: “Computer” (white speaker in living room).
  • Spotify, timer, alarm functions.
  • Extra Alexa disguised as owl in the basement for kids.

Electricity

  • Fuse box: upstairs bedroom, behind the door (grey box).
  • If a fuse keeps tripping → contact us.

Departure

  • Check-out by 11:00 a.m.
  • Leave apartment broom-clean:
    • Put used towels & linens in the bathtub.
    • Separate trash: packaging, paper, bottles, residual waste → in terrace bench.
    • Bottles → glass containers / return deposit bottles.
  • Leave both keys on the dining table.
  • Close all windows & lock terrace door.
  • Luggage storage until ~2:00 p.m. possible.
  • When leaving: pull door shut and send SMS to +49 179 5154988.

Direct Booking

If you enjoyed your stay, we’d love a direct booking next time – this saves fees for both of us.
